Acoustic screens serve as a barrier to reduce the propagation of sound waves and reduce noise pollution, especially in areas where railroads pass through or in the vicinity of airports.
ADIF relies on GOC to carry out the control and surveillance of the acoustic protection works of the High Speed Atlantic Axis (Vigo-Padrón Section), a project that is currently underway.
The work has a budget of more than 20M € and has a completion period of 24 months, and a total of 122 acoustic screens will be installed along 9,180m, with heights ranging from 2 to 7 meters.
