WORK DESCRIPTION

The projected work is a new road that runs between KP 218.5 and KP 223.5 of the N-232 (Vinaroz - Santander), known as El Burgo de Ebro bypass. Its length is 7.8 km. and includes two links, one diamond-type with two weights located at the beginning to connect with the existing N-232 and access to El Burgo de Ebro (Zaragoza side), and another grade-separated roundabout, at the end to connect with the Alfajarín highway and with the A-222 link road (Belchite). In the KP 1+430 a structure has been projected for the passage on the railway Zaragoza - Barcelona through Caspe.
There were built 7 underpasses of 7.00 x 5.30 m and several replacements of irrigation systems, to ensure the permeability of the existing roads. Related to drainage, a total of 15 transverse drainage works have been executed, mainly composed of 2.5 x 2.5 m frames and reinforced concrete pipes of 1,500 and 1,800 mm. Earthworks are approximately 1,200,000 m3.
